Explore centuries of art and history in one of the world's most important museums, housed in the former royal palace of the Louvre.

Although Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is its most famous work, the Louvre houses much more. During the visit, you can discover iconic pieces like the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, The Wedding at Cana, or The Raft of the Medusa, as well as works by artists like Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Delacroix, and Caravaggio.
The tour traverses ancient palace rooms, monumental galleries, and collections dedicated to very different civilizations and periods, from Antiquity to great masters of European painting. The architecture of the old palace itself is part of the experience.
Its enormous size makes it impossible to see everything in one visit, so a well-planned route allows you to focus on the most prominent works and spaces without getting lost among its more than 400 rooms.
The Louvre opens from 9:00 to 18:00 most days and extends its hours until 21:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays. It is closed on Tuesdays.
You can opt for a 2-hour guided tour or a 45-minute Express experience. After the latter, you can continue exploring the museum on your own.
Choose between discovering the Louvre with a professional guide in English or a faster mode, with priority access and assistance to reach the Mona Lisa.
See some of the museum's most famous pieces, such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, along with works by great European masters.

Before entering, it's worth knowing some of its must-sees: Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, three of the most recognizable works in the collection.
The tour also allows you to discover grand galleries, sculptures, antiquities, decorative arts, and ancient palace rooms. Spaces like the Grande Galerie are part of the experience and help to understand the museum's historical and artistic dimension.
